The Medicare Supplement Plan helps pay some of the health care costs that Medicare doesn’t cover by paying some Medicare Part A and B coinsurance or copayments for Medicare-eligible expenses. This means a benefit must be covered by Medicare to be covered by the Medicare Supplement Plan.
The plan is not a major medical plan like the PPO 300 and Copay Plans, so you may pay more out-of-pocket expenses if you choose this plan.
The prescription drug benefits through Express Scripts (ESI) remain the same for this plan as with the PPO 300 and Copay Plans. Go to the Prescription Drug Plan section for more information.
