Complaint and Appeal Procedures
Service Complaints
If you are not receiving services in a satisfactory manner from any of the plans available through MCHCP, contact the plan’s customer service department. Examples of unsatisfactory service include not receiving an ID card from the health plan or being charged more than the required copayment amount.
If the problem is not resolved to your satisfaction, contact MCHCP. If you are enrolled in a fully-insured plan, you may contact the Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions & Professional Registration (DIFP) at any time.
