Producer Commissions

Commissions on business placed with MCHCP shall be governed by the producer contract. Presently, commissions are paid by the following rate schedule on a per public entity basis (based on annualized premium):

New Business

• Ten (10) percent of the first $25,000 in annual premium revenue
• Eight (8) percent of the next $25,000 in annual premium revenue
• Six (6) percent of the next $100,000 in annual premium revenue
• Four (4) percent of the next $100,000 in annual premium revenue
• Two (2) percent of the annual premium revenue exceeding $250,000

Renewals

• Six (6) percent of the first $25,000 in annual premium revenue
• Five (5) Percent of the next $25,000 in annual premium revenue
• Four (4) percent of the next $100,000 in annual premium revenue
• Two (2) percent of the next $100,000 in annual premium revenue
• One (1) percent of annual premium revenue exceeding $250,000

Note: Commissions are paid once MCHCP receives payment from the Public entity and it is applied to their account.
