Hello and thank you for viewing this presentation today. My name is Emily. Today, I will discuss your benefits through Delta Dental.

Delta Dental has a large network of participating dentists. There are two levels of coverage available: basic and high. Your employer chooses which option is offered. Both options have the same coverage for preventive, basic, restorative and major services.

When you see a dentist participating with Delta Dental, diagnostic and preventive services such as two annual routine exams, cleanings and sealants for children are covered at 100%.

There is a $50 deductible for basic, restorative and major services. After the deductible is met, basic and restorative services such as fillings, treatment for gum disease and simple extractions are covered at 80%. Major services such as root canals, bridges and dentures are covered at 50%.

If your employer offers the high option, orthodontia is covered at 50% up to a lifetime maximum benefit of $1,000 per dependent under the age of nineteen. Refer to your member handbook for additional benefit information including limitations and exclusions.
